A foray through Shepard’s Glen… And Silent Hill.

7 Jul

There was a hole here. It’s gone now.

So my bud Seán and I are doing a “let’s play” of Silent Hill Homecoming. I shall map our progress here and post each video of our efforts! I’ll update this as he uploads to his youtube channel. Thanks in advance for watching!

Episode 1 – The Hospital.

Episode 2 – Escape!

Episode 3 – Shepard’s Glen.

Episode 4 – Slah slah slah!

Episode 5 – Pretty Pretty.

Episode 6 – SMOKER!

Episode 7 – … EPISODE 7!

The Return of the Guy.

7 Jul

I have returned from my holiday! Somehow I remain in one piece too, which is always fun.

In the past week or so I got the opportunity to hang out with seven other, very cool people in a remote house in rural Galway. When the sun wasn’t splitting stones the rain was torrential – at several stages a basic moat encircled our house. When it was safe to venture outside I really became in tune with my natural side. Aside from the Aran Islands, I don’t think I’ve ever been somewhere more peaceful, tranquil or relaxing. Mountains were climbed, beaches were discovered and the rambling countryside was explored on a daily basis. I basically lived on corn flakes, soup, baked beans, alcohol and occasional BBQ food and I almost read Nineteen Eighty-Four in its entirety – I’m about 80 pages off. Expect something on that shortly, it’s perhaps the best book I’ve read.

I’ll get back to regular posting soon enough – I need something to write about first, yanno? I’ll throw some snaps that people took into this when they upload them (IF they upload them).
